You will be pushed hard to find a band more imaginative, energetic and passionate about their music than Breed 77. This is a bunch of guys who have discovered themselves and have become Artisans in their field, combining Heavy Metal with all the influences that were part of their growing up in Gibraltar. They have successfully tapped into their "roots" and fused electric guitars with accoustic strings and percussion together with a touch of the arabic sound which mainly manifests itself in the skilful "wailing" produced by Paul's vibrato. The vibes are palpable and Paul's voice is just another instrument in perfect sync with the rest. Stu makes the strings of his bass reverberate and give the Breed sound it's depth. Danny tickles the strings of his guitars and mandolin (whether in heavy metal or flamenco style) with the flexibility of an olympic gymnast. Pedro supports, complements and enriches the string element, blowing you into the middle of an undiscovered Spain! The rolling drums round off and complete this unique sound. Breed 77 make my heart race and take my breath away. They make me weak in the knees. This bunch of guys have uncovered my musical G-spot which I didn't even know I had. I just love them!
