Singer Lee, guitarist Yemcy, bass player Adam and drummer Rob are the British indie rock band The 925's. The four friends all grew up in the city of Peterborough and went to the same school where they met each other. In 2006 they founded The 925's.
After competing in several band contests, The 925's were spotted by a Welshman living in the Netherlands. He arranged several gigs in the Dutch city of Eindhoven and eventually the band got to sign a deal with Red Bullet Records. After this, the four friends permanently moved to the Netherlands to build up their musical career.
Soon The 925's supported well known bands like Babyshambles, Golden Earring and We Are Scientists and went to the studio with producer Werner Pensaert (U2, Manic Street Preachers and many others) to record their debut album. The result was 'Time To Wake Up, which was released in 2008.
